Softball Recap: Indianola's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norwalk, Indianola was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pella Christian Eagles a 17-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory got Indianola back to even at 13-13. As for Pella Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Indianola will venture away from home to square off against Newton at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pella Christian, they will face off against North Mahaska at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
