Soccer Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Folsom Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 58th).

Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Folsom, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-5.

Whitney will face off against Granite Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Folsom, they will take on Del Oro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
