Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Kaleb Fox Delivers Best Effort of Season

Marshfield was led to victory by Kaleb Fox, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Fox rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Marshfield moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Fox and Marshfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Henley at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Folau Made His Presence Known in Marshfield's 41-33 Win

Marshfield's six-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Lucas Folau. Nobody could stop Folau on Friday as he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for Ashland, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Folau. Folau picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made five total tackles the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in October of 2023.
