Basketball Game Preview: West Covina Bulldogs vs. Charter Oak Chargers

The West Covina Bulldogs will challenge the Charter Oak Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

West Covina is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Monday. They lost 57-32 to Rowland. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 738th, while the Raiders are ranked 291st).

Meanwhile, Charter Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 41-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Covina.

West Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Charter Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

West Covina won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting two weeks ago, slipping by Charter Oak 36-35. Will West Covina repeat their success, or does Charter Oak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
