Football Recap: American Heritage Piles Up the Points Against Flanagan

While American Heritage put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Flanagan. The Patriots breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 31-0. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to American Heritage's defense and their six sacks. Rodarion Tellez was especially locked on to Flanagan's QB and sacked him twice. American Heritage is 2-1 when Tellez posts two or more sacks, but 1-2 otherwise. Johnson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for American Heritage and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Flanagan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

American Heritage didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-21 victory against Norland on the 10th. As for Flanagan, they will face off against Dr. Krop at 3:30 p.m. on the 13th.
