Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Kern Valley made sure to put some goals up on the board against California City on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 5-0 win. It was an even better day for Kenadie Young as she scored four goals for her team.

Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests.
