Basketball Recap: Ramona Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

Ramona extended their road winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Olivia Molina. The Ramona Rams simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Rubidoux Falcons 57-13 thanks in part to Molina, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Grettely Martinez-Avila, who posted seven points and five steals. Those five steals gave her a new career-high.

Ramona's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Rubidoux, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramona will welcome Patriot at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramona is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Rubidoux, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rubidoux Falcons face off against the La Sierra Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
