Football Recap: Travelers Rest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Travelers Rest came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 28-7 to the Emerald Vikings. The Devildogs haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emerald to victory, but perhaps none more so than Beau Hite, who threw for 119 yards and two TDs.

Travelers Rest's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Emerald, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Travelers Rest will square off against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Emerald, they will take on Woodruff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
