With a playoff win on the line, Prince Avenue Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mount Vernon Mustangs as they made off with a 15-7 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by eight runs or more this season.

Prince Avenue Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Mount Vernon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-8.

Prince Avenue Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against North Cobb Christian on the 31st. Mount Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
