Football Recap: Tularosa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 46 points the game before, Tularosa was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a 28-10 bruising from the Robertson Cardinals. The Wildcats lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 51-0 score last time.

Robertson was led to victory by Andres Sanchez and Michael Marr. Sanchez gained 103 total yards and a touchdown, while Marr picked up 117 receiving yards. Those 117 receiving yards gave Marr a new career-high.

Tularosa's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Robertson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Tularosa and Robertson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats are set to square off against their familiar foe Jal at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. Meanwhile, Robertson will face off against rival Pojoaque Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
