Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Wolves vs. University Prep Panthers + How To Watch

Trinity is 0-3 against University Prep since December of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Trinity saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 54-44 to Fernley.

Despite their loss, Trinity saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Braelynn Nugent, who posted eight points along with seven steals and three blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Nugent continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Cox, who went 5-for-7 en route to 10 points.

Meanwhile, University Prep beat Fall River 56-44 on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

University Prep now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Trinity, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Trinity couldn't quite get it done against University Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 54-47. Thankfully for the Wolves, Joanna Warren (who dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
