Softball Game Preview: Crisp County Cougars vs. Worth County Rams

The Crisp County Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Worth County Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Crisp County will be strutting in after a win while Worth County will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Crisp County needed a bit of extra time to put away Hawkinsville. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Devils, sneaking past 6-4.

Meanwhile, Worth County fell victim to Cook and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 8-0.

Worth County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karlee Mathews, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Crisp County's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Worth County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.
