Basketball Recap: Valencia Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

On Thursday, the Valencia Tigers earned a 52-44 victory over the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Despite the defeat, Godinez Fundamental had strong showings from Emily Cruz, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds, and Valerie Esteban, who posted 13 points. That's the most points Cruz has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Julissa Mota, who put up five points and five rebounds.
