Football Game Preview: Raton Tigers vs. Legacy Academy Silverbacks

Raton is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Legacy Academy Silverbacks at 7:00 p.m. Raton has given up an average of 26.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Raton's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against St. Michael's on Saturday. They took a blow against the Horsemen, falling 54-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Horsemen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Legacy Academy played against McCurdy last Saturday and won via forfeit.

The victory (which was Legacy Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Raton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
