Soccer Game Preview: Christian Heritage vs. Armuchee

The Christian Heritage Lions will square off against the Armuchee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Christian Heritage is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dalton Academy.

Meanwhile, Armuchee fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Fannin County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1. Armuchee's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Christian Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Armuchee, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Christian Heritage took their victory against Armuchee in their previous matchup back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
