Baseball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Lumpkin County Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Lumpkin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Lumpkin County will challenge Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Johnson will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' contest: after the Indians faces off against the Rebels, they'll take on Johnson again at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday.
