Basketball Recap: Blackhawk Beats Central Valley for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Blackhawk had won eight straight games and Aubree Hupp did her part to make it nine on Monday. The Blackhawk Cougars came out on top against the Central Valley Warriors by a score of 55-43 thanks in part to Hupp, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 13 boards. Her evening made it 23 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Andrea Kinger was another key player, putting up 15 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Blackhawk pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Blackhawk will be playing at home against Lincoln Park Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
