Baseball Recap: Covenant Christian Academy Triumphs

While Covenant Christian Academy's victory against North Georgia HomeSchool wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Covenant Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against North Georgia HomeSchool on Friday, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since March 4, 2024.

Grayson Evans was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Covenant Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian Academy will face off against Unity Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Covenant Christian Academy is facing Unity Christian at the right time seeing as Unity Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they will square off against Cristo Rey Atlanta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cristo Rey Atlanta has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something North Georgia HomeSchool will no doubt try to take advantage of.
