Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Central's Fifth in Last Six Outings

New Foundations came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Central, but Stevie Hall wouldn't allow it. The Central Lancers put the hurt on New Foundations with a sharp 46-25 win on Friday thanks in part to Hall, who posted 18 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Another player making a difference was Sofia Meer, who scored eight points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 14 games she's played.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for New Foundations, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Central has already played their next match (against West Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
