Softball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gore Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Thursday.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Gore, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-10-1.

Cameron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gore, they have already played their next game, a 7-0 win against the Yellow Jackets on the 25th.
