Softball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.5 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They fell just short of the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils by a score of 10-8. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Clarksville is taking a road trip to face off against Janesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they will face off against West Marshall on Tuesday.
