Basketball Recap: Knight Hawks vs. Quartz Hill Royals
After flying high against Sultana on Wednesday, Knight came back down to earth. The Knight Hawks fell 51-44 to the Quartz Hill Royals on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 671st, while the Royals are ranked 324th).

Beautiful Mcbride and Asha Fudge certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mcbride dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards, while Fudge dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Fudge is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaria Anderson, who posted four points and eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Knight smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
