Pitman has gone a perfect 10-0 against Modesto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pride are taking a road trip to challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pitman took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Downey by a score of 2-0. Given Pitman's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Downey are ranked 529th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jasmine Vernacchio and Hayden Hopwood scored both of Pitman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Modesto made sure to put some goals up on the board against River Islands on Friday. They blew past the Riptide 5-1. The result was nothing new for Modesto, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Modesto's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-6. As for Pitman, their record is now 4-2-1.
