Sage Creek is 3-0 against Valley Center since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sage Creek face off against the Valley Center at 6:00 p.m. Sage Creek's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sage Creek's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Pacific Ridge 1-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Valley Center made easy work of Escondido Charter on Friday and carried off a 5-0 win. Considering the Jaguars have won three matchups by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley Center's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for Sage Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything went Sage Creek's way against Valley Center in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Sage Creek made off with a 3-0 victory. Does Sage Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valley Center turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
