Soccer Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Comes Up Short

St. John Bosco Academy and Pinecrest Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. John Bosco Academy had to settle for second. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Paladins who were credited with the victory. The Pinecrest Academy Paladins got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to St. John Bosco Academy's two. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, St. John Bosco Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Nathan Ferguson, who's now up to 23 this season.

St. John Bosco Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Pinecrest Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

As of now, neither St. John Bosco Academy nor Pinecrest Academy have any future games scheduled.
