High Plains is 9-1 against McCool Junction since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Storm will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. High Plains will be strutting in after a win while McCool Junction will be coming in after a defeat.

High Plains saw some tournament action on Saturday. They skirted past Southern Valley 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

Meanwhile, McCool Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against H&H, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since September 9th.

While McCool Junction ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

McCool Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for High Plains, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

High Plains took their win against McCool Junction in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
