Softball Recap: Grove's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Grove came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Jay Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Ridgerunners, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Grove's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Jay, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove will take on Bishop Kelley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jay, they will head out to square off against Ketchum at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
