Hampshire was the 37-15 winner over Northern Garrett when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 35-21 bruising from the Huskies on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Hampshire lost, don't look at Landon Eversole. Despite the final result, he threw for 189 yards and three TDs.

Landon Yoder was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 84 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Those 84 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Hampshire's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northern Garrett, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Hampshire and Northern Garrett should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Trojans (ranked 51st) will meet Rock Ridge (ranked 315th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northern Garrett will face off against Uniontown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (90 vs. 510).
