Baseball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview managed to slip by Vale the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Honkers lost 22-8 to the Vikings on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Honkers have suffered since April 29, 2025.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Vale, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will challenge Hidden Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Honkers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Vale, they will take on Riverside at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.92 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
