Football Recap: Crossland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 45 points the game before, Crossland was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They took a blow against the Alexandria City Titans, falling 42-8. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Marquise Lesane threw for 128 yards and one touchdown. Donte Hagan was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Crossland dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Alexandria City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossland will take on Largo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The contest will give the Cavaliers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Alexandria City, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lewis at 7:00 p.m.
