Soccer Game Preview: Dade County vs. Dalton Academy

The Dade County Wolverines will head out to square off against the Dalton Academy Pumas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dade County will be strutting in after a victory while Dalton Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Dade County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Lookout Valley on Monday as Dade County made off with an 11-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Dalton Academy's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calhoun on Thursday. The Pumas haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The win made it two in a row for Dade County and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matchups. As for Dalton Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Dade County suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Dalton Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Dade County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
