Softball Recap: Worth County Comes Up Short

If Worth County was riding high fresh off their 16-4 takedown of Bainbridge on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell 4-0 to the Berrien Rebels on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost five in a row.

Worth County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ansley Bartley, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Bartley has hit this season.

Worth County's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Berrien, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

While Worth County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
