Baseball Recap: Bremen Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Bremen was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell 6-1 to the Columbia City Eagles. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bremen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Wildauer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Bremen has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-5 record this season. As for Columbia City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Bremen will venture away from home to square off against Logansport at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia City, they will challenge Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
