Basketball Recap: Eastside Lions vs. Quartz Hill Royals        
        
		
            
 Make it nine blowout wins for the Eastside Lions this season. They took their  contest on the road  on Tuesday with ease, bagging a  74-39 win over Quartz Hill. The  win was nothing new for Eastside as they're now sitting on ten straight.
  Niela Marshall continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and 13  rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two  blocks for four straight games.  Camrynn Whitley was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with three  steals.
 Quartz Hill's loss  came despite strong showings from  Ashantee Palmer and  Mandy Frozina.  Palmer  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals, while  Frozina  scored 12 points along with five  rebounds and four  steals. Frozina has been hot recently, having posted three or more  steals the last eight times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Alonna Rollins, who  scored five points.
 Eastside has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Quartz Hill, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 13-11.
 Eastside will take on the Falcons at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Palmdale will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1025th, while the Lions are ranked 265th). As for Quartz Hill, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Antelopes at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Antelope Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 63.2  points per game this season.
