Basketball Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 46-38 to the William Penn Charter Quakers. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Quakers are ranked 101st).

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for William Penn Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will venture away from home to challenge Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for William Penn Charter, they are taking a road trip to face off against Germantown Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully William Penn Charter likes a good challenge.
