Volleyball Recap: Willow Gets the Win

Willow proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints 3-2. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Willow was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 20-25, 25-18, 15-8.

The victory got Willow back to even at 2-2. As for St. Martin's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willow will face off against Crescent City Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Martin's Episcopal, they will head out to square off against Chalmette at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
