Baseball Recap: Temple Takes a Loss

Temple was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Darlington, falling 18-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Darlington this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Tuesday.

Nehemiah Dorsey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tucker Gribben, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Temple's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Darlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Darlington beat Temple by a score of 8-5 on Friday.
