Soccer Recap: Dooly County Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Dooly County rose to the challenge on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bobcats who were credited with the win. The Dooly County Bobcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Claxton Tigers's two. Jesus Vega had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Dooly County.

Dooly County has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 18-4 record this season. As for Claxton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coming up, Dooly County will face off against Lake Oconee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dooly County will need to watch out since Lake Oconee Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests. Claxton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
