Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Tri-Valley had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's matchup, but Avery Miller didn't let it get to four. The Tri-Valley Bulldogs breezed by Weatherly to the tune of 36-9 on Tuesday thanks in part to Miller, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tri-Valley's points.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Weatherly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Tri-Valley will take on Mahanoy Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weatherly, they will face off against Williams Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williams Valley will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Weatherly surely won't give up without a fight.
