Wylie East's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past South Garland 55-0. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four games by 31 points or more so far this season.
Jaiden McLemore had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 249 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes.
Wylie East was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 275 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Although Naaman Forest took the loss, they still got scores from Khaleel Muhammad Turner and TREVION DIZER.
Even if they lost, Naaman Forest's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Muhammad Turner, Brody Perales, and Ire Okunade, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Naaman Forest's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Wylie East, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Thursday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Wylie East has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 251.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Naaman Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 201.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Wylie East against Naaman Forest when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-19 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rangers' DeAngelo Perales, who rushed for 68 yards and one score, and also threw for 145 yards and one touchdown.
