Soccer Game Preview: Fallbrook vs. Ramona

The Fallbrook Warriors will challenge the Ramona Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ramona took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fallbrook, who comes in off a win.

Ramona will be up against a hot Fallbrook squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Fallbrook's way against Valley Center on Thursday as Fallbrook made off with a 4-1 victory.

Fallbrook hit Valley Center with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Valerie Reyes (2), Kiley Boulanger, and Sophia Fredrick.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Ramona was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 4-1 to Rancho Bernardo. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 589th, while the Broncos are ranked 251st).

Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Ramona, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2.

Fallbrook took their victory against Ramona in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Fallbrook repeat their success, or does Ramona have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
