In what's become a running theme this season, the Surry Central Golden Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Forbush on the road to the tune of 79-42. The win was familiar territory for Surry Central who now have six in a row.

Mason Jewell went supernova for Surry Central, scoring 22 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jewell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jax Whitaker, who scored 13 points.

Surry Central is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Forbush, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Surry Central will square off against North Wilkes at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Surry Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 445 points over their last six matches. As for Forbush, they will head out on the road to face off against East Surry at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Forbush is coming into the game with 20 straight losses on the road, meaning East Surry will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
