Recap: Garey Vikings vs. Azusa Aztecs        
        
		
            
 The Garey Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  contests by 23  points or more this season. They really took it to Azusa for the full four quarters, racking up a  55-16 win on the road. With Garey ahead  39-9 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
  Armani  Owens continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 23 points and 13  rebounds. The  contest was  her 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was   Alyssa  Herrera   , who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Azusa  were smashing the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garey only pulled down six  offensive rebounds.
 Garey is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Azusa, they are  on a eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-9.
 Garey will be home for the holidays to greet  Pomona at 4:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Pomona will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1232nd, while Garey is ranked 545th). As for Azusa, they will head out on the road to face off against San Gabriel at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. San Gabriel is coming into the  contest on a four-game losing streak.
