McMichael has gone a perfect 10-0 against Morehead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Phoenix will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McMichael has four straight wins, Morehead has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

McMichael proved they can win big last Monday (they won by five) and last Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Carver, sneaking past 3-2. McMichael found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: ANDREW MCLEAN and LANDON CRAVENS were both handed yellow cards.

McMichael hit Carver with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from RICHARD CASTANEDA, ERIC ALTAMIRANO, and JUAN URIBE JIMENEZ.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Morehead faced off against Rockingham County on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Morehead have lost by exactly two goals.

Morehead's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for McMichael, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Everything went McMichael's way against Morehead in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as McMichael made off with a 4-0 win. Do the Phoenix have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
