Soccer Game Preview: Lee County vs. Lowndes

Lee County is 0-7 against Lowndes since February of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Trojans will welcome the Vikings at 2:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Lee County came up short against Veterans and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Lowndes managed to keep up with Richmond Hill until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Vikings came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0. Lowndes haven't had much luck with Richmond Hill recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lowndes' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lee County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Lee County suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Lowndes in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
