River Islands is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over Aspire Langston Hughes Academy on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Serena Mendoza as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Humphreys Able Charter's offense. They came up short against Venture Academy on Wednesday, falling 7-0.

River Islands is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups.
