Soccer Recap: Santa Clara Takes a Loss

Santa Clara lost against Mountain View back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Santa Clara Bruins fell just short of the Mountain View Spartans by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Bruins' first of the season.

Santa Clara's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1-2. As for Mountain View, their record now sits at 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Clara will be home for the holidays to greet Presentation at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Presentation is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Hollister at 11:00 a.m. on December 21st.
