Softball Recap: Timnath Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Timnath was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 21-2 to the Berthoud Spartans. The Cubs have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Timnath saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Timnath's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Berthoud, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Timnath didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-8 defeat against Dakota Ridge on the 22nd. As for Berthoud, they will head out to take on Eaton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
