Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is Yukon's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Yukon proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Marlow Outlaws 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Millers have posted since August 16th.

Yukon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Marlow, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Yukon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Kingston on the 19th. As for Marlow, they have also already played their next game, a 13-1 victory against Ninnekah on the 20th.
