Lovett waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lovett took both sets by at least 21 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Ali Wainwright, who had ten assists and six aces. Sophia Hildago also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lovett was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

Lovett's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-7.

Lovett has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Pace Academy on the 18th. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Holy Innocents Episcopal on the 16th.
